SMC 517 stone separating roller mills

Roller mills are an effective machine for extracting stony inclusions from clay, as well as a machine for primary crushing of clay.

Roller mills consist of smooth and ribbed rolls. The ribbed roll is fixed to the frame immovably and the smooth roller is movable. A smooth roll can deviate up to 30 mm when metal inclusions that are not crushed fall into the rolls. In this case, there is an automatic disconnection of the rollers.

The rib roll consists of a band, on the surface of which there are ribs made of wear-resistant steel. Ribs to bandage are attached by bolts.

The roller mills are supplied with the original drive on a smooth roller (a gear motor with a capacity of only 5,5 kW), which allowed to reduce the total installed capacity from 52 to 42,5 kW.
