The CER-RD drying drum is an industrial continuous rotary drum designed for efficient drying of bulk and granulated materials. The equipment is used as part of technological lines in ceramic, mineral processing, and recycling industries.
By its operating principle and design, the drum belongs to the class of rotary drying drums (BN type) and can operate in co-current mode using furnace gases as the drying agent

 

 

Purpose and Application

The CER-RD drying drum is designed for:

• moisture removal from clay and mineral raw materials;
• drying of bulk, non-explosive and non-toxic materials;
• preparation of material before crushing, grinding, forming or storage;
• operation within integrated drying and technological lines.

The drum is a continuous-operation unit designed for long-term industrial use.

 

Design Features

The CER-RD drying drum consists of a rotating cylindrical shell with internal lifting and mixing elements ensuring uniform heating of the material.

• co-current movement of material and drying agent;
• use of furnace gases as the drying medium;
• support and thrust stations with extended service life;
• industrial-grade geared drive;
• feeding and discharge chambers adapted to the production line.

The design ensures uniform drying along the entire drum length and stable final product quality.
